Available in two models – XLE and Limited - the 2023 Toyota bZ4X comes with either front-wheel drive (FWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) drivetrains. The FWD variants come with a single 201 hp AC synchronous electric motor powered by a 71.4 kW h Lithium-ion battery pack, while the AWD models pack two electric motors producing a combined 214 hp and 248 pound-feet of torque.

The base bZ4X XLE FWD is capable of an EPA-estimated up to 252 miles of range, while the XLE AWD variant can do 228 miles on a full charge. The better-equipped Limited model offers an estimated 242-mile range in the FWD version and 228 miles in the AWD model. That's not all; the 2023 Toyota bZ4X comes with available 150 KW DC Fast charging that can charge the battery from low battery light to 80% in as little as 30 minutes. The bZ4X is also eligible for various state and federal EV tax credits.
