The Toyota Avalon is unmistakably one of the most significant full-size sedans to have hit the market. The Avalon has stayed true to Toyota’s advocacy towards reliability, safety, and dependability over the years. Contrary to belief, full-size sedans, in most cases, is far more beneficial than SUVs. They offer plenty of space for passengers, offer a significant amount of cargo space, and manage to look dashing in the process. But just like any other form of evolution, the automotive market has evolved with more demand for SUVs nowadays. And with that in mind, the Avalon will have its last run in its 2022 avatar with a fitting farewell to an iconic vehicle.
The 2022 Avalon will be available in six configurations, namely XLE, XLE Hybrid, XSE Hybrid Nightshade, Touring, Limited, and Limited Hybrid. The 2022 Avalon receives the following updates - discontinuation of the previously optional all-wheel-drive system, and discontinuation of the TRD model, the addition of a new rear-seat reminder feature to all the trims, and updated driver-assistance features with more advanced camera- & radar-based avoidance systems.
