Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 driver assistance innovations and availability
With the hustle of everyday life, it can sometimes be difficult to juggle everything going on in our lives. For one reason or another, you might see your concentration begin to dwindle behind the wheel, which is not only ill-advised but can also be dangerous. Luckily, new Toyota models have been built with some of the best innovation that the industry has to offer, in terms of keeping you safe and secure behind the wheel. We want to show you the latest and greatest today, so come in and join us as we tell you about the Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 driver assistance innovations and availability!
New and existing features of Toyota Safety Sense 2.0
Since it was designed to be a continuation of the current Toyota Safety Sense™ platform, you’ll still be treated to top innovations such as a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection; Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist; Dynamic Radar Cruise Control; and Automatic High Beams. However, there’s more than meets the eye for upcoming models, as you’ll see in the video below!
New Toyota vehicles such as the 2019 Corolla Hatchback and RAV4 will bring two new innovations in the fold, in the form of Lane Tracing Assist and Road Sign Assist. The former can use sensors to keep you securely in place within your lane, as well as detecting what kind of road rules you should be following based on the layout of said lane. The latter also uses your Toyota model’s internal sensors to read road signs (Stop, Yield, Speed Limit, etc.) and alert you accordingly. It’s just one more way that Toyota works to keep you knowledgeable and courteous behind the wheel!
